Mental Health Services by Mel Ricketts Psychology

A single brown rope tied in a neat knot against a plain background.

OCD is driven by intrusive, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and the powerful urge to perform certain actions or mental checks (compulsions) to feel safe. It can be an incredibly isolating experience for both adults and children. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space to treat OCD using the 'Gold Standard' approach: Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). We work at a pace that feels safe, learning how to sit with uncertainty without needing to perform compulsions. My goal is to help you or your child break the OCD cycle and reclaim the time and mental energy that the disorder currently takes up.
