Mental Health Services by Mel Ricketts Psychology

Covers GAD, Separation Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, and Specific Phobias

Anxiety can show up in many ways, as the 'what-ifs' of Generalised Anxiety (GAD), the intense fear of being away from loved ones (Separation Anxiety), or the overwhelming dread of social situations or panic attacks.

For children, it might look like tummy aches or school refusal; for adults, it often feels like a constant state of high alert.

My approach is to help you or your child understand how anxiety 'tricks' the brain into sensing danger where there is none. Using evidence-based CBT and gentle, step-by-step 'bravery challenges' for phobias, we work together to build confidence and reduce the power that worry holds over daily life.
