How We Work Together

Traditional therapy often asks individuals to fit into a rigid box. In our work together, we throw the box away. Whether you are navigating neurodivergence, trauma, OCD, or anxiety, we adapt evidence-based CBT to work with your brain, not against it.

Therapy for Children & Teens (6-18)

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, intrusive OCD loops, depression, or processing past trauma, I offer a confidential, down-to-earth space tailored to your unique needs.

My practice is evidence-based, collaborative, and trauma-informed. We work as a team to understand the patterns keeping you stuck, build practical coping strategies, and support your overall emotional well-being, always adapting CBT tools so they genuinely align with your brain, sensory profile, and daily life.

Therapy for Children & Teens (6-18)

Drawing on 7 years of specialist experience within NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), I provide a supportive, low-demand environment for young people navigating emotional and behavioral challenges.

From school-related anxiety and phobias to complex OCD and trauma, my goal is to help children and teenagers make sense of their feelings and build lasting confidence. I offer a warm, flexible approach, whether that means traditional talking therapy, visual mapping, or neuro-affirming adaptations, helping young people feel truly heard, valued, and understood.

Partnering in Your Child's Progress

What Your Involvement Looks Like As A Parent/Carer:

  • The Initial Assessment: I usually meet with parents first (or alongside the child) to get a comprehensive picture of the family's needs and the child's processing profile.
  • Parent/carer Consultations: Dedicated sessions just for you. This is a safe space to discuss home strategies, share concerns, and learn how to co-regulate with your child.
  • School Liaison: With your consent, I can provide brief summaries or attend professional meetings (such as EHCP or TAC reviews) online to advocate for necessary neuro-affirming adjustments at school.

Payment Terms

To confirm and hold your scheduled appointment, full payment must be received at least 48 hours prior to your session via bank transfer.

  • Your session slot is guaranteed once payment has been received.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

I understand that life is unpredictable and schedules sometimes need to adjust. Because a dedicated time slot is reserved specifically for you, the following terms apply:

  • More than 48 hours’ notice: You are welcome to reschedule or cancel your session with no charge. Any pre-paid fees will be fully refunded or rolled over to your next appointment.
  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: Cancellations or requests to reschedule made within 48 hours of the appointment will be charged at the full session rate.

Under 18's & NHS Partnership Boundaries

Due to local NHS partnership agreements, I am unable to offer private CBT sessions to young people under the age of 18 who are registered with a Buckinghamshire GP. If this applies to your child, please contact your GP to access local pathway support.

Discounts & Concessions

I am pleased to offer a 10% discount on standard sessions for:

  • Blue Light Card holders
  • Full-time students

(Note: This discount applies when the primary bill-payer holds a valid ID, including parents paying for a young person's therapy).

  • Low-Income Families: A limited number of sliding-scale/concessionary spaces are reserved for families on lower incomes. Please feel free to mention this when booking your initial consultation to discuss availability.
