Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical, present-focused talking therapy. It explores the powerful connection between your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, and actions, giving you a concrete toolkit to break free from distressing cycles.
A Collaborative Partnership We work as a team. I bring my clinical training and 7 years of specialist NHS CAMHS experience, while you (or your child) bring the absolute expertise on your own life. Together, we act as 'co-investigators' to identify the patterns holding you back and test out new, empowering ways of moving forward.
How We Can Connect:

Trauma leaves your nervous system trapped in survival mode. Using specialised, trauma-focused protocols, we safely take the emotional sting out of past life events, single incidents, or medical trauma so you can feel secure in your body again. For children, we work gently to 'file away' these distressing memories so they no longer intrude on the present.

OCD is driven by intrusive, unwanted thoughts and a powerful urge to perform exhausting compulsions to feel safe. Using the 'Gold Standard' approach, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), we work at a pace that feels safe, learning how to sit with uncertainty and break the cycle so you can reclaim your time and mental energy.

Depression often feels like a heavy fog that makes even small tasks feel monumental, leading to withdrawal and a persistent stuck feeling. I use a practical CBT framework called Behavioural Activation, focusing on helping you or your child collaboratively identify patterns and gently re-engage with meaningful, manageable activities to boost energy and motivation.

Navigating the constant 'what ifs' of Generalised Anxiety (GAD), Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, or intense specific phobias can feel incredibly isolating. We work together step-by-step to understand your body's alarm system, face fears using gentle bravery challenges, and manage school-based stress or separation anxiety.

Being neuro-affirming is a commitment to seeing your neurotype as a valid difference, not a deficit. Rooted in both my CAMHS background and my lived experience as an ADHDer and a parent to Autistic/ADHD daughters, I don't believe in 'one size fits all' therapy or asking you to mask. We adapt tools entirely to fit your unique brain, nervous system, and processing profile.
